Inside and out

Ashley serves women inside the jail, then keeps walking with them after they come home.

Restoring Hope Ministries

Women coming home often face

  • Finding work
  • Financial stability
  • Substance use
  • Mental health
  • Trauma
  • Parenting
  • Family relationships

None of it has to be faced alone.

How it started

Formed out of obedience

Ashley first heard about the SaveOne abortion recovery class at a women’s conference, and felt the Lord tell her to train for it and lead it. She led the class online and in person, and then felt led to take it into the jail.

Once inside, she found she loved being there with the women: bringing things in, praying with them, being a steady support. The women who came to trust her began reaching out after their release, and the ministry grew into jail ministry, reentry support and peer recovery support for vulnerable women.

“It was completely formed out of obedience.”
Ashley Butler, Founder and Director
